讲座内容简介：
The talk covers the recent development from our ocular imaging team (http://imed.i2r.a-star.edu.sg).The talk focuses on computer aided diagnosis of ocular diseases; it also touches some development on the ocular Imaging-based computer-aided surgical assistance technologies, ocular Imaging-based high-performance Identification systems and ocular medical Image-informatics algorithms. Building on the years of medical imaging research experiences and patented technologies, the Ocular Imaging team focuses itself on the inter-disciplinary eye-related research. Deep research in this specific domain are conducted, with the aim to establish world leadership, breakthroughs and intelligent technologies with commercialization value. The team works closely with world leading ophthalmologists, pathologists, statisticians, optometrists, opticians; to research, develop and commercialize our ocular imaging platform with a suite of Ocular Imaging-based computer-aided diagnosis/screening systems for major eye diseases.
讲座人简介：
Jimmy Liu heads the ocular imaging research in Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore. He has held technical development and management positions with Singapore government-linked companies and multi-national corporations, as well as Singapore local enterprises. During the past eight years, Jimmy focused his research on medical imaging especially ocular image processing.
He holds adjunct position in Singapore National Eye Research Institute in Singapore General Hospital, and Nanyang Technology University of Singapore.
